The Calile Hotel - A Gem in Brisbane's Hotel Scene
Open the doors to
adventures and encounters
—
Hi design junkies,
We don’t know about you, but we’re totally dreaming of a perfect getaway right now. That’s why we wanted to show you one of the coolest hotels on the planet, Calile.
The Calile Hotel opened in Brisbane in 2018, and kicked off a new era for James Street, with an increase in international visitors discovering the street’s many retailers, restaurants, and vibrant community.
Calile is designed for people who know what they want - and who certainly do not want to settle for the average. As they say, great hotels provide more than a bed for the night, and that is definitely something Calile is making sure of.
From moments of discovery to unexpected adventures and encounters to be savoured and retold, Calile is an oasis for exploration and relaxation - and also pretty nice to look at.
Feel the breeze from the balcony, enjoy a platter of fruit by the poolside, or get to know the amphitheatre, a grand room for private dining and library, which is the perfect spot to linger and work or just exhale.
Step into the gym before taking an unwinding treatment at the spa, and when the night falls, enjoy one of the many restaurants the hotel has to offer.
The combination of soft colours, stylish interiors, and modern shapes gives Calile a minimalistic and elegant look that invites you to relax.
In addition, the use of marmor and golden details adds a hint of sophistication to the rooms.
Calile has restaurants for all taste buds, with cuisines from all corners of the globe. Spoil yourself with authentic Greek at Hellenika, try out Japanese fine dining at Sushi Room, enjoy street-inspired Thai at sAme sAme, or get comfortable with classic Italian at Bianca - the choice is yours.
The place to end the night is definitely the hotel’s Lobby Bar, where you can have a drink or taste some of the delicious gelatos.
Before leaving, make sure to visit the hotel’s gift shop Museum of Small Things. Most likely the prettiest gift shop that has ever existed, full of delightful and tasteful items to bring home.
