Hello, design junkies! Today we introduce you to Studio HENK, a Dutch furniture design studio in Amsterdam and inspired by everyday moments. The brand philosophy is that designing furniture is not just about making a beautiful piece, but about creating something that you can use every day.

Studio HENK started 2020 with a new collection that introduces more feminine shapes and new pieces that work as an extension of their current collection. “Based on our current collection we carefully considered which pieces we felt are still missing”, says founder Okke Albers. “We believe in having a ‘good foundation’ – a few high-quality furniture pieces that are carefully selected and that you will love for years to come.”

“We aim to make furniture that will last for generations. We do this by working with high-quality materials, but also by carefully considering the aesthetics. We want to make sure that our designs remain relevant throughout the years. We do want to bring more femininity to our collection, for example by working with round shapes.”

To invite the ultimate sense of relaxation, Studio HENK has expanded its lounge collection. For example, the brand has added two ottomans to its collection: the Co Lounge Ottoman and the Ode Lounge Ottoman. The designs are inspired by the eponymous lounge chairs. The footstools invite you to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and truly unwind.
