Sole Mio, Série 09 - new at Margaux Keller Collections
Margaux Keller’s ode to the Sun
—
Hi design lovers,
Margaux Keller Collections is back with the Sole Mio, Série 09 collection. A collection that is a hymn to the Sun, comforting, disturbing, and mystical.
The Sun has inspired artists throughout the centuries and still is doing so today. This time around it was Margaux Keller, designer and co-founder of Margaux Keller Collections, that has been inspired by the burning star.
Her dedication to showing in her work that today's designs are no longer just a combination of functionality and aesthetics, but also a way to show emotions, is seen once again throughout this entire 9th collection.
Margaux Keller, after being part of the design team of Fabrica by Benetton, decided to found her own global design agency, where she developed varied partnerships: Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, Dior Parfums, Roche Bobois, Bibelo, Cartier, La Redoute Interiors, etc., and worked on different design projects.
Then a few years later, she created her own publishing house alongside Anaïs Fretigny: Margaux Keller Collections, where objects and pieces of furniture are made by craftsmen with unrivalled know-how.
The Sole Mio, Série 09 collection is full of iconic furniture pieces such as the Mirèio chair, the Maïoun rug, the Maïre desk, and the Pinède decorative wall shelf.
The Mirèio chair is an elegant, daring, and yet timeless chair, handcrafted by one of the last French chair artisans. It revisits the traditional straw chair with soft and clean curves.
Maïoun is an exceptional rug with a unique design. Its curves intertwine in a captivating display, reminiscent of united links forming a celestial heart, adding a touch of sophistication to a coffee table, a central dining table, or an entrance area.
Maïre is a sculptural desk with organic-shaped plateaus invoking island curves, made in France. It can find its place anywhere in the house.
Lastly, is Pinède, a decorative wall shelf that invites spontaneous storage.
Its shape is inspired by the profile of a Parasol Pine and has a specificity: it is reversible and will always find a place in your interior, alone, in a duo, or accompanied by its large model.
To go with the furniture and to plunge even more into Margaux Keller’s artistic universe, is none other than the Margaux Keller x Bien Fait back-to-school collaboration wallpaper.
Revived by the designer's magic pencil stroke, the wallpaper is punctuated with the motif of the Maïoun rug and relies on generosity with powerful color tones and a bold stripe.
The Longo Maï decor inspired by traditional Provençal Indians reinterpreted as a little repetitive wall jewel on a fresh and comforting strip, is also a sight to see.
In love with Margaux Keller’s work.
