Hello there design lovers!
One of the most remarkable aspects of architecture and design is their capacity to depict and enable individuals to express cultural essence.
This time we introduce you to an amazing project, Casa Mezcal by Barde VanVoltt, that brings to life an extraordinary fusion of art, design, and the spirit of Mexico.
Casa Mezcal is a captivating private residence in the heart of the vibrant La Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City .
This 400m2 property, housed in a former mezcal tasting facility, combines architecture, nature, design, and craftsmanship in perfect harmony.
With its historic site, cascading stairwells, tree-filled skylights, and classic arch windows you’ll feel as if you are entering a world of charm.
The layout seamlessly merges the indoors with the outdoors, centered around the magnificent Guayabo Japonés tree. The lush green canopy reaches from the ground floor to the bedroom balconies on the second floor.
Casa Mezcal showcases local talent as the firm partnered with Mexican designers, suppliers, brands, and artisans incorporating their work into 90% of the furniture, art, and accessories.
Together, they were able to create a vision that’s bold, integrated, and deeply rooted in Mexican culture.
