Here we are again with yet another brand for you guys to get to know! Meet Abel, a perfume brand bringing a sustainable twist to the market. Following a failed search for natural scents that were chic, modern and long lasting, Abel was founded in Amsterdam by New Zealander Frances Shoemack with a simple goal: to create the world’s best natural perfume.

Abel believes in the power and beauty of scent and that indulgence doesn’t need to have a negative impact on the earth, its inhabitants, or us. Made 100% of natural ingredients, Abel perfumes evolve on our skin, working with our natural body chemistry to create a unique scent that will continually evolve throughout the day.

Abel launched it's first fragrance in 2013 and currently has eight different scents available. They are: cobalt amber, a chic sultry oriental; green cedar, a velvet, rich wood; golden neroli, a bright, citrus floral; red santal, a warm, spicy wood.

White vetiver, a zesty, cool wood; grey labdanum, an edgy dark chypre; pink iris, a contemporary, classic floral; and Nurture, a collaboration with organic children’s clothing brand, Gray Label, specially made for mothers by mothers. Abel also offers the Discovery set, which allows you to experiment all scents and save 20% in the process.

Born out of the partnership between Frances, a former winemaker, and Isaac Sinclair, a master perfume, is no surprise that Abel is walking the path of glory! When Frances saw a video of Isaac waxing lyrical about the similarities between perfume and wine, she knew she'd found her Nose. For Isaac, working on Abel is a unique opportunity to create standout scents using the best (natural) ingredients in the world.
