Don’t we all love a good day at the salon? A place that leaves you feeling happy and refreshed. Well, we are very excited to show a new beautifully designed salon that definitely stands out and becomes an oasis for you to relish in.
Meet Allure the Salon based in the heart of Terrigal Australia, designed by the studio We are Triibe. Where a haircut is not all you will experience.
We all know that moment you have when you step out of the airplane or into a holiday home and you instantly feel on vacation, well that is the feeling you get once you walk into this salon.
They recreated that experience through their use of a natural and traditional architecture of the city Puglia in Italy. In other words, their use of stone and neutral colour pallet, are what present the feeling of a beautiful Summer escape in the south of Italy. Don’t you feel it?
The salon is surrounded by stone walls and floors, which creates a beautiful light and open space right at the entrance, ready to welcome you. With that you will instantly see the unique stone bar that is truly a great piece chosen for first impressions; which we all know is crucial.
To maintain the minimalistic design, Palmco uses large organically shaped mirrors that not only add a modern touch but also are a key piece that helps us to recognise that it is more than a beautiful space.
Allure was the right name for this salon because once you walk past the seating area, you are instantly allured to the back where you walk into a dark hallway and find beautiful large lighting and slick washing basins, just waiting for you to lay back and relax; and we all know that is our favourite part of going to the salon.
The ceramics throughout the studio add a simple clean touch, which allow the brown leather chairs to stand out as a unique piece to the entire design. They almost take you back in time to a 20’s NYC barbershop; the same leather chairs, just with a modern feel.
