We are excited to share with you Pantone’s new color collection with the Boardsports heritage brand Globe. It has been three decades of boardsports, street culture, design, and film, representing an international network of riders and designers.

Now they are back again to release their new limited-edition skateboard deck for PantoneTM Color of the Year 2023!

We are obsessed with their new color.

2 December 2022 – Boardsports heritage brand, Globe, has announced the release of the latest GLOBE + Pantone Color of the YearTM limited-edition skateboard deck.

This fresh instalment in Globe’s ongoing collaboration with PantoneTM and the Pantone Color InstituteTM features the official Pantone Color of the Year 2023, PANTONE 18-1750 Viva Magenta.

For over 20 years now, Pantone’s Color of the Year has influenced key product development and purchasing decisions across fashion and furnishings, as well as product, packaging and graphic design.

The choice of PANTONE 18-1750 for 2023 marks an unconventional shade for an unconventional time, writing a new narrative and charting a fresh vision for 2023.

With only 300 decks created, each of the 8.25” skateboard decks are numbered and feature Globe’s signature Resin-7 Canadian maple construction. The decks are laser engraved and paint dipped for a high gloss expression of the Pantone Color of the Year that each deck celebrates.

The Pantone number, colour story and official collaboration information are also laser etched into the top side of each deck.
