Kommuna by Anastasiya Korpaleva
A concept interior design
of a two-level unit in Moscow
—
Hi there design aficionados!
Recently while looking for some interior design inspirations we came across this incredible project by Saint Petersburg-based interior designer Anastasiya Korpaleva. This is a concept interior design of a two-level unit in the famous Kommuna House on Gogolevsky Boulevard, Moscow, by the architect Moisei Ginzburg (1931).
This house is known for its multi-level residential units and Nastya Korpaleva fell in love with this building when she read an article about it in AD in her sophomore year at university.
Every apartment is an independent small architectural element with harmonious proportions and a well thought out layout, and for her project the interior designer choose this two-level unit.
We were amazed by how Nastya Korpaleva managed to use a light pastel color palette in her favor to open up this limited space.
