Homo Faber returns for their 3rd edition with a mission to emphasise the significance of small details and simplicities in everyday moments. During September, they welcome you to embark on the journey of human life from birth to the afterlife. 400 + artisans from 50 + different countries will be exhibiting more than 800 pieces.
The vision, driven by Luca Guadagnino and architect Nicolò Rosmarini, will blossom through Fondazione Giorgio Cini located on San Giorgio Maggiore island, in Venice. The root of this vision stemmed from The Journey of Life, a concept developed by Vice Chair of the Michelangelo Foundation, Hanneli Rupert.
Each artisan, from a different corner of the world, holds their own story ready to be shared through their unique crafting skills and techniques.
To encourage a true sensory journey within the exhibition there will be a fusion of live artisanal demonstrations, gourmet experiences, craft workshops, and cultural mediation.
Stepping outside of Fondazione Giorgio Cini, the discovery continues into the streets of Venice where locations of hidden artisanal gems will be unveiled, offering a fresh way to explore the city.
