Shine bright with Hanna Anonen
The spectacular singularity
of everyday elements
—
Hanna Anonen is a master in turning unusual everyday things into wonderful eye-catching designs. Based in Finland, but continuously inspired by other countries and all the small things that come with them, this awarded designer loves mixing up candy-like colors and it’s safe to say she’s bringing Nordic design to the next level!
Hanna Anonen’s work has been mentioned in many major medias, including Vogue, ELLE Décor, Domus and Dwell. So it’s no surprise we fell in love with Hanna’s work. The ”Merry-go-round” is a fun wooden household object, functioning as a side table or a stool. This compact companion is packed with character and the perfect match for a contemporary home. Care for a drink? ”Cocktail” is the best one you’ll ever have! The wooden ceiling light is inspired by the colors of fizzy drinks. It’s simple, yet the color explosion will skyrocket you into a different world!
Some of Hanna Anonen’s work is inspired by France. She lived in Paris for a few months to soak up the culture and its unusual everyday objects. Such as the fabergé egg, which Hanna turned into “The Beebee” design, a bulbous egg used for hiding your special little things. Another piece based on French things is “The Plizé box”, the irresistible color combinations make this box the center-piece of any space. The last masterpiece we want to highlight in this article is Hanna’s “Bouquet”, a chandelier that takes you straight to a walk in a Parisian garden.
