Moscow levels up its residential spaces with the help of Babayant's Architects

Tranquility meets

Luxury.

Lucky Moscow residents are being introduced to more and more beautiful living spaces that exude serenity and luxury, thanks to the clever minds at Babayant’s Architects.

Two brand new residential towers nestled in the heart of Moscow, that share a stylobate, inner courtyard and parking had to be designed to distinguish their different characters but united by style.

By using identical materials, repeating furniture, and lighting in the public spaces of the towers they have created a common and recognisable leitmotif, that also leaves space for creativity.

The unique lobby of each building showcases it’s individuality and architectural features. The expansive space acts as a meeting place, bright, welcoming and ethereal with a reception, lounge area and coffee point.

The extremely tall space was at risk of emulating a shopping centre or office block, however with careful design and comfort centred creativity, Babayant’s Architects transformed the space by dividing it into two levels.

Vertically separating the materials helped to visually harmonise the proportions and heights, resulting in a space that maximises comfort and ambience.

The comfortability of the residents was at the forefront of Babayant’s design approach. By using thoughtful choices like an island-type planning solution to make it possible to move freely around the hall without crossing the seating and waiting area.

The building also features a fitness room, the interior of which is inspired by Japanese aesthetics. This means space is completely decorated with wood and is conducive to contemplation, self care and prioritising your physical health.

Materials were integral to the design process in order to unite the space and help it feel aligned. Stone was used to give the feeling of a monomaterial, uniting the entire space. Juxtaposed by wood, which ensured the space was more enveloping and cozy.

Panoramic glazing brings the exterior into the interior, making the lobby architecture a holistic paradise.

The residents are encouraged to make the space their own, with interactive light panels that create a certain atmosphere, anyone can set their own tone for the light screens.

The ability to control colour and ambience reinforces the feeling that this is their home.
